Muhammad ﷺ is our beloved prophet. He is the last and final messenger sent by Allah for the guidance of mankind, there are no prophets or messengers who will come after him. It is our duty as Muslims to love and respect our prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and henceforth learn about his life and his struggles.
Mohammed (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was born in Makkah. He belonged to the clan of Banu Hashim from the tribe of Quraish.
His father’s name was Abdullah and his mother was Aminah, he lost his father even before he was born, and at the age of 6 his mother died. After that Abdul Muttalib, his grandfather, looked after him and when Abdul Mutallib passed away his uncle Abu Talib was his guardian.
Thuwaiba and Halima were his famous foster mothers.
Our prophet was born on Monday,20th or 22nd April in 571 C.E (Christian Era) {9th Rabi’ul Awwal} .
He was gifted the prophethood by Allah at the age of 40 years, after which he stayed in Makkah for 13 years preaching The Oneness of Allah, shunning polytheism and its various forms, and about the answerability on The Last Day(Yaum-ul-Qiyamah,The Day of Judgement), and the ultimate rewards of the ones who did good or evil in this life.
When the non-Muslims(disbelievers) of Makkah started torturing him and sometimes even beating him and his Muslim companions ,the Prophet ﷺ and his companions were ordered by Allah to migrate to Madinah. The Prophet ﷺ lived in Madina for 10 years.
After migrating to Madina, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) along with his companions fought many wars with the non-Muslims of Makkah who always tried to harm the muslims.
The Battle of Badr (the first war fought in 17th Ramadan in 2nd Hijrah) and The Battle of Uhud (in 5th Shawwal 3rd Hijrah) were some of the important battles fought.
The Prophet ﷺ also had to deal with some other hostile tribes and factions. He ﷺ also had some battles with the Jews in Madinah and expelled them from Madinah for their repeated treachery and deceptive nature.
In 20th Ramadan 8th Hijrah the Muslims captured Makkah and all the idols, 360 in number approximately, were removed from the Kaabah .
The Kabah was originally built by Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail (Alaihimussalaatuwassalaam) . The Quran is the Holy Book of the Muslims revealed to Muhammad ﷺ during his lifetime.

Our prophet was the best creation of llah, he ﷺ was sent as a mercy for mankind, he never lied or cheated anyone-he always used to speak the truth, he would always trust the power of Allah whenever he was facing a problem. He would always help the poor and needy. He would often thank Allah for all the gifts given to us by Allah. He would always ask Allah to forgive his followers. He was the best example for mankind.
May peace mercy and blessings of Allah be on our Prophet ﷺ , his family and his noble companions, Aameen.
