The Islamic Shariah doesn’t teach us to revile and mock our rulers, be it in public speeches, poems and/or articles. Our Ummah is an Ummah of Dawah and Naseehah- be it to Muslim rulers or Non-Muslim rulers.
Allah said to Prophet Musa (Moses):
“Go, both of you (Musa and Haroon), to the Pharaoh, for he has exceedingly rebelled. But speak to him with gentle words, so that he might reflect and be mindful or feel some awe (of Me, and behave with humility). (Surah Tā-Hā 20:43–44)
This is the Prophetic Manhaj of dealing with rulers, be they oppressors or kind ones.
