Whoever attends the prayer with us, let him perform the Wudhu properly.

If any one of you performs ablution, and does it well, and when he finishes the ablution, he utters the words : ‘I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, He has no associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and His Messenger’, all the eight doors of Paradise will be opened for him; he may enter (through) any of them. (This was narrated in Sunan Abi Dawud, Sunan At-Tirmidhi records an additional supplication:)

O Allah! Make me among the repentant, and make me among those who purify themselves.’

‘Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bi hamdika, ashhadu an laa ilaaha ill anta, astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilayka’

(Glory and praise be to You, O Allaah, I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You),

it will be written on a paper and sealed, and this seal will not be broken till the Day of Judgement.
