The dialogue regarding the Existence of God between Mr. Javed Akhtar and Mufti Shamail Nadwi was not merely a debate; rather, it was a significant milestone on a creedal (Aqdi) and intellectual (Fikri) level.
The sentiments of gratitude to Allah and the prayers and accolades for Shamail Nadwi expressed by Muslims belonging to various schools of thought (Masalik) and sects are proof that today, the Truth (Haq) was represented in a robust manner.
🎙️ Universal Representation
Today, Shamail Muhammadi Sahib was not acting as a deputy merely for his own person; rather, he was representing all people of faith generally, and Islam specifically.
This is because if there is any religion in the contemporary world that is convincing humanity of the existence of God with resounding clarity and unwavering conviction, it is Islam.
This is all despite the fact that concerted efforts are underway globally—on political, financial, ethical, and psychological levels—to prove Islam false.
⚖️ The Victory of Truth
Today, Muslims had much to lose, yet by the Grace of Allah, we lost nothing; rather, we gained much.
Conversely, an atheist (Mulhid) had nothing to lose, yet despite this, he lost and exposed his own intellectual vacuum (Fikri Khala).
This was not the defeat of an individual, but the manifestation of the inherent intellectual weakness of Falsehood (Batil).
✨ The Continuity of Divine Defense
This is, in reality, the perfection of the Divine Religion (Deen-e-Rabbani). Debaters (Munazir) like Shamail Muhammadi have been born before this, exist today, and In Sha Allah, will continue to be born in the days to come.

In conclusion, I would simply say:
The time has arrived that, as always, Atheism (Ilhad) must be answered not with emotions, but on scholarly, rational, and academic grounds.
And Alhamdulillah, our Ummah possesses the capability (Salahiyat), the aptitude (Isti’dad), and the intellectual capital (Sarmaya-e-Ilm) to do so.
