The Messenger of Allah said: “No two people should converse while relieving themselves, each of them looking at the private parts of the other, for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates that.”

Urine Touching The Clothes and Warning Against Not Taking It Seriously.
“The Messenger of Allah passed by two new graves, and he said: ‘They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything major. One of them was heedless about preventing urine from getting on his clothes, and the other used to walk about spreading malicious gossip.'”

Hadith 95:
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: Beware of (save yourselves) urine (droplets), for the common reason for the punishment of the grave is urine (i.e.droplets of urine which fall on ones clothes).

Hadith 96:
On the authority of Abu Bakrah (رضي الله عنه) who narrated:
One day the Prophet ﷺ was walking between me and another person, we came by two graves.
He ﷺ said: The occupants of these two graves are being punished, get me a branch.
Abu Bakrah said: I and my companion went to get it, and we got a branch, and (the Prophet ﷺ) split it into two halves. He ﷺ put one piece of the stem on this grave and another on that grave.
He ﷺ said: I hope that the punishment is lightened upon them till these are fresh, they’re not being punished for something major, one (is being punished) for backbiting and another because of urine.

Warning Men Against Going Into A Bathroom Without A Lower Garment, And Warning Women From Going To The Bathroom Without A Lower Garment Except An Ill Woman.
Hadith 97:
Umm Ad-Darda (رضي الله عنها) said: I came out of a bath-house and saw (met) the Prophet ﷺ, he said, ‘From where O Umm Ad-Darda?’. I said, ‘From the bath-house (Hammaam)’. He ﷺ said: By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! No woman removes her garments in other than the house of one of her mothers except that she has torn the screen between herself and Ar-Rahman Azza wa Jall.” Musnad Ahmad 6/361, Sahih.
Hadith 98:
On the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ said:
Whoever believes in Allah and The Last Day, should not enter the bath-house (except with a lower garment/Izar), whoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day, his wife should not enter the (public) bath-houses, whoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day, should not consume Al-Khamr (intoxicants), whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit at a table where Al-Khamr is being drunk (i.e. intoxicants are being consumed) and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit alone with a Non-Mahram female except with a Mahram of the female being present.

Hadith 99:
Narrated Ammar ibn Yasir:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The angels do not come near three: the dead body of the unbeliever, one who smears himself with khaluq (*saffron fragrance is prohibited for men), and the one who is sexually defiled (Junub) except that he performs ablution.

Hadith 100:
Ibn Umar narrates from his father (Umar ibn Al-Khattab) that: When Jibreel came (in human form) to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said: That Islam is ‘To testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and that verily Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that you establish prayer, and you give the Zakat, you perform the Hajj and Umrah, and that you bath after Janabah (sexual defilement), and that you complete the Wudhu (properly), and that you fast in the month of Ramadan. (Jibreel) said: If I do these actions am I a Muslim? The Prophet ﷺ said: Yes. Jibreel said: You’ve spoken the truth.

Hadith 101:
Abu Hurairah said (from a lengthy Hadith) that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The jewelry (glitter) of the believer will reach as far as his Wudu reached.”

It was narrated that Abu Hazim said:
“I was behind Abu Hurairah when he performed Wudu’ for Salah. He washed his hand up to the armpit, and I said: ‘O Abu Hurairah! What is this Wudu’?’ He said to me: ‘O Banu Farrukh! You are here! If I had known that you were here I would not have performed Wudu’ like this. I heard my close friend (i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)) says: “The jewelry of the believer will reach as far as his Wudu reached.” (An-Nasai 149)

“Peace be upon you, abode of believing people. If Allah wills, we shall join you soon. And I will reach the Hawd before you.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, how will you know those of your Ummah who come after you?” He said: “Don’t you think that if a man has a horse with a white blaze and white feet among horses that are solid black, he will recognize his horse?” They said: “Of course.” He said: “They will come on the Day of Resurrection with glittering white faces and glittering white hands and feet because of Wudu’, and I will reach the Hawd before them.”

Hadith 102:
On the authority of Abu Ad-Darda (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said:
I will be the first one to be allowed to prostrate on the Day of Judgement, I will be the first one to raise my head. I will se infront of me and I will recognize my Ummah (nation) from amongst the Ummahs (nations), and from behind me likewise, and from my right likewise, and from my left likewise.
A man asked: How will you recognize your Ummah from amongst the Ummahs, and in them are (Ummahs) from (the time of) Noah till your Ummah?
The Prophet ﷺ said: (1) They are Ghurrun Muhajjaloona (ones with bright faces and limbs) because of the signs of their Wudhu- and it is not for anyone other than them, (2) I will know them because they’re the ones who will recieve their books in their right hands, (3)……(I will know them by the light that emanates from them from their front and back).

Hadith 103:
Abu Hurairah narrated that :
Allah’s Messenger said: “When a Muslim, or believer, performs Wudu’, washing his face, every evil that he looked at with his eyes leaves with the water – or with the last drop of water, or an expression similar to that – and when he washes his hands, every evil he did with his hands leaves with the water – or with the last drop of water – until he becomes free of sin.”

Hadith 104:
Uthman b. ‘Affan reported:
The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: He who performed ablution well, his sins would come out from his body, even coming out from under his nails. (Sahih Muslim 245)
And in another narration-
Uthman bin Affan said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) perform ablution like this ablution of mine and then he said: He who performed ablution like this, all his previous sins would be expiated and his prayer and going towards the mosque would have an extra reward. (Sahih Muslim 229)
Hadith 105: (Imam Al-Mundhiri quoted only a part of the following Hadith, we will quote the entire Hadith.)
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
I brought water to `Uthman bin `Affan to perform the ablution while he was sitting on his seat. He performed the ablution in a perfect way and said, “I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing the ablution in this place and he performed it in a perfect way and said, “Whoever performs the ablution as I have done this time and then proceeds to the mosque and offers a two-rak`at prayer and then sits there (waiting for the compulsory congregational prayers), then all his past sins will be forgiven.” The Prophet (ﷺ) further added, “Do not be conceited (thinking that your sins will be forgiven because of your prayer). On the authority of Uthman bin Affan, that he called out for water, and he performed ablution by it, then he smiled. He (Uthman) said to his companions: Won’t you ask me the reason for my smile? They said: Why did you smile O Ameer ul Mumineen? Uthman said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Wudhu just like I did now, and he ﷺ smiled. He ﷺ said: Won’t you ask me, ‘Why did you smile?’ The companions said: Why did you smile O Messenger of Allah? He ﷺ said: When a servant does Wudhu and washes his face, Allah erases the sins that he did with his face, when he washes his hands likewise and when he washes his feet likewise.

Hadith 107:
On the authority of Amr bin Abasah As-Sulami: (Part of a lengthy hadith)
I then asked the Messenger of Allah to tell me about Wudu’, and he (ﷺ) said, “When a person begins the Wudu’ and washes his mouth and nose, the sins committed by his face, mouth and nostrils are washed out. Then when he washes his face as commanded by Allah, the sins of his face are washed out with the water from the sides of his beard. Then when he washes his hands up to elbows, the sins of his hands are washed out through his fingers with water. Then he passes his wet hands over his head and the sins of the head are washed out through the ends of his hair with water. Then he washes his feet up to the ankles, the sins of his feet are washed out through his toes with water. Then, if he stands up for Salat and praises Allah, glorifies Him, proclaims His Greatness as He deserves and devotes his heart wholly to Allah, he emerges sin free as the day he was born”.

Hadith 108:
Abu Malik at-Ash’ari reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one’s faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.

Hadith 109:
‘Uqba b. ‘Amir reported:
We were entrusted with the task of tending the camels. On my turn when I came back in the evening after grazing them in the pastures, I found Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) stand and address the people. I heard these words of his: If any Muslim performs ablution well, then stands and prays two rak’ahs setting about them with his heart as well as his face, Paradise would be guaranteed to him. I said: What a fine thing is this! And a narrator who was before me said: The first was better than even this. When I cast a glance, I saw that it was ‘Umar who said: I see that you have just come and observed: If anyone amongst you performs the ablution, and then completes the ablution well and then says: I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, the eight gates of Paradise would be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes.

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “My Lord, Blessed is He and Most High, came to me in the best of appearances. So he said: ‘O Muhammad!’ I said: ‘Here I am O my Lord! And I am at Your service.’ He said: ‘What is it that the most exalted group busy themselves with?’ I said: ‘[Lord] I do not know.’ So He placed His Hand between my shoulders, until I sensed its coolness between my breast, so I knew what was in between the east and the west. He said: ‘O Muhammad!’ I said: ‘Here I am O my Lord! And I am at Your service.’ He said: ‘What is it that the most exalted group busy themselves with?’ I said: ‘In the acts that raise ranks and the acts that atone, and in recording the footsteps to the congregation, Isbagh Al-Wudu in difficulties, and awaiting the Salat after the Salat. And whoever preserves them, he shall live in goodness and die upon goodness, and his sins shall be like that on the day upon which his mother bore him.'”

Hadith 111:
Abu Ayyub said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says: ‘Whoever performs Wudu’ as commanded and prays as commanded, will be forgiven for his previous actions.’

It was narrated that Thawban said:
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Adhere to righteousness even though you will not be able to do all acts of virtue. Know that the best of your deeds is Salat (prayer) and that no one maintains his ablution except a believer.'”

Hadith 113:
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to perform the Wudhu before every Salah and with every Wudhu the Siwak.

Hadith 114:
The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him ) called upon Bilal (May Allah be pleased with him) and said, “What did you do to deserve entering Paradise? For I have heard the rustling of your garment in front of me in Paradise.” He replied, “O Messenger of Allah! I have never called the Athaan except that I have prayed two units of prayer after it, and no impurity has ever happened to me except that I have made ablution after it.” Rasulullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him) then said, “It is because of them.” (Sahih Ibn Khuzaimah 1209, Sahih)
