When the Prophet ﷺ returned from Al-Isra wal-Meraj, he found his bedsheet still warm, and that a vessel of water that he had overturned when he left was still dripping water, and that the chain of his door was still swinging as it had been when he left his apartment before he set off.

Status: False.

Shaykh ash-Shuqayri (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The idea that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) went and came back during the night of the Isra’ (Night Journey) and his bed had not grown cold is not proven; rather it is one of the lies that are told by people.

Praying your Salah with your shoes or sandals on.

Narrated Aws ibn Thabit al-Ansari:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Act differently from the Jews, for they do not pray in their sandals or their shoes.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “When Adam committed his sin, he said: ‘O Lord, I urge you by virtue of Muhammad to forgive me?’

“Allah said: ‘O Adam, how do you know Muhammad when I have not yet created him?’

“He said: ‘O Lord, because when You created me with Your own hand and breathed into me the soul that You created, I lifted my head and I read on the pillars of the Throne the words: Laa ilaaha ill-Allah, Muhammad Rasool Allah. And I know that You did not connect to Your name any but the most beloved of Your creation to You.’

“Allah said: ‘You have spoken the truth, O Adam. Verily he is indeed the most beloved of My creation to Me. Call upon Me by virtue of him, for I have forgiven you.

Were it not for Muhammad I would not have created you.’”

Status: Weak and false.

(One of the narrators here)‘Abd ar-Rahmaan ibn Zayd ibn Aslam is matrook al-hadith (i.e., his hadith is to be rejected). As-Saaji said: He is munkar al-hadith (i.e., his hadith is not acceptable). At-Tahhaawi said: According to the scholars, his hadith is the ultimate in weakness. Al-Haakim and Abu Nu‘aym said: He narrated fabricated (mawdoo‘) hadiths from his father. Ibn al-Jawzi said: They are unanimously agreed that he is weak (da‘eef).

The Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam once asked Hadrat Jibrael Alaihis Salam,

“O Jibrael! How old are you?”
Jibrael al-Ameen Alaihis Salam replied, “O Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, I don’t know how old I am, but I do know that in the Fourth Covering (حجاب), I saw a star shine once every 70,000 years, and I saw this 72,000 times.”
The Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam then said,
وعزة ربي انا ذلك الكوكب
“By the honour of Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala! I was that star.”

Status of this narration: False.

Shaykh ‘Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn as-Siddeeq al-Ghamaari (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

In some books of al-Mawlid an-Nabawi (books that speak of the Prophet’s Birth) it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that he said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked Jibreel (peace be upon him): “O Jibreel, how old are you?”… And he quoted the hadith, then he said:

This is an abhorrent lie; may Allah punish those who fabricated it and made it up.

(Question) Some people,even Muslims, are of the opinion that clothes(worn by ladies) are not a factor considered by a rapist before he rapes? The “miniskirts” aren’t a problem. If it was so,then why are innocent babies and children raped? Why are Burkha clad ladies preyed upon?

Answer.

الحمد لله و الصلاة و السلام على رسول الله…

Such people want to depict that clothes aren’t a factor in rapes,but the fact is the opposite.

Naturally men get exited at the sight of a scantily clad lady. Such a lady attracts them. That is why you have ladies with the bare minimum amount of clothes used in cheap soap operas and ads.

Then why do beastly men prey on babies,kids and burkha clad ladies?

The rapist was already being brainwashed by *”the miniskirt model”* from the porn industry which desensitizes the human value for women and the film industry which constantly uses the feminine flesh to promote their scripts.

Now, when the beast(rapist) is hungry after the flood of nakedness he has seen, he turns to the easiest prey available.And that is in the form of babies and children who can’t fight back or the average burkha clad lady who crosses his path. For the beast at his moment of excitement, and old grandma would also suffice.

That is why Islam prescribes The Hijab, and Hijab (appropriate defined covering for women (and men)) is to protect women from molestation.

Another factor that emboldens a rapist is the slow law and order machinery which takes times to process and prosecute the criminal,and even if the long queued procedure is over,the laws are not stringent enough to deter the rapist.

The Islamic Shariah’s holistic take on solving these issues:

1. Hijab of the men and women.

2. Ample punishment for the rapist.

100 lashes for the unmarried man and stoning to death for the married rapist, a basic rape without the use of kidnapping or weapons.

3. Swift punishment for rape.

In Jami` at-Tirmidhi,Hadith no:1454, in summary, a lady in the era of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was raped before dawn,and as soon as the culprit was caught,he was stoned to death.The lady wasn’t punished here and let frew.

Many disbelievers wrongly claim that Islam wrongly punishes the rape victim,this is a false claim as is proved in the Hadith above.

4. If the rapist (married or unmarried) used a weapon to threaten the lady before rape,i.e.on gunpoint or using a knife then according to the majority of the scholars of Islam,he is to be put to death for the rape and terrorism.

Quran: “The recompense of those who wage war against Allaah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter”

[al-Maa’idah 5:33]

As an additonal benefit let me address some issues:

5. If someone rapes an animal he is put to death.

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “If you find that someone has had intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal too.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (4464) and at-Tirmidhi (1455)

6. If a man rapes another man or boy he is subjected to the punishment of a homosexual and he is killed.

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to.”

(Tirmidhi,1456)

The above Hadith is about two homosexual practicing homosexuality with mutual consent,in that case both are killed.But if a person is forced into it,then he isn’t punished.Refer to the Hadith above when the woman was raped.

So The Islamic Shariah(The Quran and The Sunnah(traditions of The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ )) with its boundaries and punishments is the best solution for not only rape but all the problems for humanity at large.
